The Michigan Department of Education (MDE) has transitioned to using the SAT as part of the Michigan Merit Examination (MME). In April 2017, the state will offer the PSAT 8/9 to freshmen, the PSAT 10 to sophomores, and the SAT to juniors during regular school hours free of charge.

Students who have already taken a College Board assessment may have created a College Board account. If you have not already done so, you can create this account at www.collegeboard.org. All Juniors who took the PSAT/NMSQT at Waterford Mott in November have received their testing booklets and test scores and can use these to help prepare for the SAT in April. Another great resource to help prepare is Khan Academy. You can access this FREE study tool at: www.khanacademy.org/SAT.

For more information please read our PSAT Newsletter for information on accessing scores online and how to read the reports. Look for the newsletter in our SAT Resources section below.
